Meet Fawzia.
She’s only 9–10 years old, but she’s already a leader in her community.
When 10–12 women arrive who only speak Pashto, Fawzia steps in. She translates, asks questions, and helps her mom and others understand how to register for services and access resources. She doesn’t hesitate to speak up—because she knows her community deserves support, dignity, and answers.
Today, Fawzia and her siblings received coats. Their excitement reminded us why we do this work—and why we must do more.
Children like Fawzia should be free to learn, play, and dream—not carry the weight of navigating systems meant for adults. That’s why KADI is taking on a new challenge: building stronger pathways, support systems, and access so kids like Fawzia can simply be kids—while their families still get the help they need.
